Administration and PAN: No Fiscal “Plan B”

The federal government and the PAN delegation warned that there is no “plan B” for tax reform and said that the cost of not approving the proposed taxes will be reflected in children not attending school and not receiving medical attention, therefore they considered it necessary to make room for the debate.

Regarding the 2% levy on consumption, Social Development Secretary, Ernesto Cordero, denied that it would affect the poorest, since they will receive more than 13 times their contribution in transfers.
