1. U.S. will turn over “El Güero” Palma” to Mexican authorities, the Embassy of the United States in Mexico informed that drug trafficker Héctor Luis “El Güero” Palma Salazar will be turned to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security ‘s officials, who are coordinating his direct return to Mexican authorities.

2. This past Sunday, June 5 voters in 12 of 32 states in Mexico went to the polls to elect governors, mayors and local legislators, in which the PRI recognized its electoral defeat and the PAN highlighted its victory.

3. The government of Nuevo León initiated criminal proceedings against former Governor Rodrigo Medina de la Cruz and 11 of his collaborators for their involvement in the diversion of resources and other anomalies in the granting of economic incentives and payments of 9 billion pesos to suppliers.

4. The governor of Veracruz, Javier Duarte de Ochoa, called for reconciliation and unity in the state, after the elections on June 5th in which the PRI candidate lost to PAN-PRD’s candidate, Miguel Angel Yunes .
