On the morning of Sept. 11, 2001, Isabel Sanmillan is taking part in a meeting in one of the twin towers of the World Trade Center. Thousands of miles away in Mexico, her family watches on television as the plane crashes. They fear their loved one has perished in New York.
A decade later, Sanmillan finds herself back in Mexico, thanks to the efforts of her daughter Camila in finding her. The woman doesn’t remember who she once was, a photographer and the founder of a newspaper. Her employees have a hard time, as well, believing that this woman who has unexpectedly returned owns their company.
