The campaign calling for a blank vote demonstrated its success in yesterday’s midterm elections. According to the Preliminary Electoral Results Program, a division of the Federal Electoral Institute, 5.83% of the population participated in the campaign throughout the nation.
The results of the preliminary vote count show that the Federal District (D.F.) leads the movement with a participatory rate of 10.83%.
This percentage indicates that 315,359 votes were cast in blank, with 97% of the polling booths accounted for.
