Mexican businessman Carlos Slim, the richest man in the world according to Forbes magazine, announced on Monday that he will invest 317 million dollars to support education in Mexico in the next 3 years.
“We will invest more than 4 billion pesos in support of connectivity, development of digital libraries, equipping of schools, as part of our program of educational collaboration in Mexico,” stated the tycoon in a press conference, when he announced an alliance with Salman Khan, director of the Khan Academy.
