Mexico’s jobless rate fell to its lowest in nearly four years in September, a positive sign for growth in Latin America’s number two economy after a softening around mid-year. The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate fell more than expected to 4.66 percent last month, the national statistics agency said on Friday – the lowest since October 2008, before a deep recession kicked unemployment up to just short of 6 percent.
