The Maya of Mesoamerica are renowned for their precise calendars and their knowledge of astronomy. Sign up for a teacher’s workshop on Saturday, October 27 from 10 am to 1 pm at the National Museum of the American Indian to learn about the Maya world, math, astronomy, the calendar system, and the end of the Long Count Calendar in 2012.
