We are saddened to report the death of Alonso Lujambio, recently elected a Senator and the former Secretary of Education. Alonso Lujambio had a distinguished trajectory as both a scholar and policymaker, writing some of the most perceptive works on Mexican politics before joining the Federal Transparency Institute (IFAI) as President and later becoming Secretary of Education.
