The incoming federal government will be unable to fill 88% of government posts, the ministry informed legislators, because these positions are filled with career government workers. The incoming government will only have 5,146 posts to fill, out of a total of 42,402 total. The PRI noted that 600 of the filled positions were filled immediately after the election, they suspect that this so that PAN party members would remain employed.
