Reforma

Templo Mayor: Though it was believed that Miguel Osorio Chong would be appointed as Secretary of the Interior it is now said that Jesús Murillo Karam will take that position and Osorio Chong will be Minister of Social Development; There is more proof that organized crime is taking over areas of Rodrigo Medina’s government, there are testimonies of victims and of his own employees that confirm the Institute of Vehicle Control was at the service of these criminals.

El Universal

Bajo Reserva, “¿Es sólida la alianza Madero-Zambrano?”: The PRI was surprised when Gustavo Madero aligned with the PRD, but they believe that the Madero-Zambrano alliance is not as strong as it seems; The chief of the General Control Unit of the IFE, Alfredo Cristalinas has been told to prepare the dictums of the accusations made against Enrique Peña Nieto, it is also said that the National Bank Commission and Valores have been collaborating greatly with the investigation.

Clase Política, Miguel Ángel Rivera “Trabajo en exceso”:   While the PAN and the PRD jointly insisted that the PRI be sanctioned, the PRI demanded that the authorities sanction the other two parties for their, “false accusations,” the result of this is a lot of work for the IFR, the TEPJF, and the Attorney General’s Office…After the Secretary of Governance, Alejandro Poiré Romero, presented the government’s priorities with regards to organized crime to a group of industrialists, the president of Concamin, Francisco J. Funtanet Mange recognized the government’s efforts and recommended that they continue advancing their initiatives into November…If the government of   Michoacán does not receive financial assistance from the Federal government, the state government will not have enough to pay salaries, affirmed the governor Fausto Vallejo.

Milenio

Trascendió:  Deputy Jaime Cárdenas, López Obradors coalition’s lawyer, knows first-hand that his arguments are faulty; his wife, María de la Luz Mijangos, is a coordinator for Benito Nacif who is in charge of relations between the IFE and the media, and who rejected Cárdenas’ accusations against polling and newspaper companies.  Ricardo Monreal, AMLO’s campaign coordinator, partially disappeared this week, leaving all the lights on the PRD’s national director, Jesús Zambrano…Community members from Cherán are visiting, for the second time this week, the Secretary of Governance to receive a response to their petition that the authorities inspect the zone and investigate the causes of conflict in their community as well as recent murders.
