Mexico falls in UNESCO Education Index and Oaxaca Teachers Suspend Classes (in Spanish)

Mexico fell five spots in the Education for All Index from UNESCO, which focuses on primary education. Mexico is now 53rd place in the ranking of 129 countries. Of the aspects included in the index, Mexico fared worst in the criterion of quality, at 63rd place (See article by Reforma).
